Someone managed to obtain the official photos of the new 2019 Audi A6, which will be premiered at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The German automaker launched a teaser campaign for the new A6, but in the meantime the photos have leaked on the web, before its official debut in Geneva. Now we got the chance to see Audi’s answer to the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class.
There is no absolute confirmation that these are official images of the 2019 Audi A6, but a good indicator is the fact that the gray car has the same license plate as the model that appears in the teaser video clip, which you can watch below this article. In addition, its front end largely coincides with the sketch Audi released last year.
After the premiere of the Audi A8 and the stylish A7 Sportback, it is time for the new A6 to take the front pages of popular car magazines. Its styling is not as surprising as we thought it would be, although Audi has officially adopted a new design language. However, the newcomer is more sporty.
The front of the vehicle is a variation on the theme of A8, but it is similar to the smaller A4. The rear end is what makes a certain difference to some extent, thanks to the new design of the taillights, but without the full-width strap that stretches on the back. Instead, there is a chrome line.
Unfortunately, there are no official photos of the interior. However, we have the information that the 2019 Audi A6 Avant wagon prototype owns the cabin similar to the A8’s, featuring the Audi Virtual Cockpit with similar dual touchscreen layout.
