The Improves Interior

As for the ergonomical interior, Toyota opted to improve functionality first before touching on anything fashion. A touchscreen flanked by such things as tuning and volume knobs and a range of climate control knobs and buttons sticks out prominently from the dashboard. Everything is easy to figure out. Interior storage space is very sufficient, thanks to a two-tiered dashboard and a large central console, like past RAV4s, packaging is excellent, with a low floor and a spacious rear seat.

The switch gear feels solid. This, coupled with high quality plastics and a bevy area with a soft touch, compensate for rather dull cabin basics.

Three All-Wheel-Drive Systems

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 comes with enhanced three all-wheel-drive systems. Like before, it comes with two power trains, but Toyota is attempting to achieve diversity with an upgraded three, all-wheel-drive system: the standard front wheel drive, the all wheel drive XLE and LE models, and the third one, which is also applied in all Toyota RAV4 hybrids, has an electric motor on the rear axle for purposes of powering the rear wheels.

Engine Specs and Options

Its 2.5l has more power and greater torgue than before. It produces 203 horsepower, as compared to 176 horsepower of it’s predecessor, and a torgue of 184 lb-ft, up from 172lb-ft. The RAV4 Adventure is capable of 60 mph within 8.0 seconds, which is 0.3 faster than the 2018 model.

Although its chassis has been improves, the engine’s noise takes away the shin of the upgrade. As concerns fuel economy, the vehicle does much better than its predecessor. While on a test, it achieved 32 mpg with 75 mph. This is 7 mpg better than its predecessor.

If you feel more thrifty, consider the hybrid, which posts 39 mpg, 219 horsepower and the motor powered torque makes it a better car for daily driving. It is also not as noisy. It may be a bit more expensive (about $800 more), it is worth the price, given the higher performance it offers. Find a different opinion on some other sources if you think it’s necessary.

Safety Features

Like all other RAV4’s, it comes with quite a number of safety features, which include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automated emergency brakes and lane keeping alert. Others include rear cross traffic automatic brakes, blind spot warning, as well as rear cross traffic alert.

Apple car play is available, but the car is yet to be fitted with android auto. Other luxury features include a panoramic roof made of glass, power liftgate and the heating and cooling of the front seats. You can discuss on forum about this car.
